Program "Micro-Chip" is the program for computation of a diode end-pumping micro-chip solid-state lasers in quasi-CW mode of operation (with passive Q-Switch). Program allows to carry out computations of a single pulse and the computation of functional dependensies versus parameters of initial data.
Examples
Parameters of an active element. You may load experimental spectral distribution of active element absorption from file (red cololor curve).
At present Data Base contains parameters for widely used active elements: YVO4:Nd, YAG:Nd, KGW:Nd and LSB:Nd.
Program takes into account the spectral width of active element absorption, spectral width of puming radiation and wavelength mismatch between ones.
In section Q-switch parameters you may edit parameters of Q-switch element and execute the computation of parameters. The four levels model is used in program for passive Q-switch.
Temporal computation allows you to obtain results for gain of media (violet), cavity losses (green), generation pulse (red) and Q-switch transmition (blue).
Application of a functional computation allows you to obtain functional dependencies versus parameters of laser elements and regimes of operation.
Easy optimization may be carried out in functional computation mode - for example versus output mirror reflection.
