"Methods and programming facility for investigation and development of solid-state lasers and training professionals"

      Designing and using the applied programm packages for investigation and development of solid-state lasers and training professionals for work with the compu-ters of IBM 360 and IBM PC/AT type have been reported. The development has been made in three directions:

        – the laser elements (frequency doubler, frequency selector, pumping systems etc.) with data base,

        – pulse solid-state lasers (by the scheme: generator-amplifier (with the number of passages up to 4 with interference and nonlinear phase conjugation mirrors), frequency doubler,

        – laser application (lidars, ranger finders, etc.).

      The programming packages allow to make the design computations of the energy, temporal, polarization, spectral and spaceous characteristics of radiation. The suggested schemes of the lasers stages allow us to consider 50 versions of schemes on the basis of 8 general types of active elements. In computation of multi-stage ra-diators (on the related system of differential equations) the encountering interaction of the element base (polarizer, optical shutter, the reflection of faces and depolari-zation of the active element and etc.), reciprocal influence of stages with each other are taken account of. This allows to solve the problem of complex optimization of lasers. The results are presented in the form of time and function relations and histograms.

      As the initial data both model distributions of the parametrs of the optical elements and the experimentally measured ones are used. For this purpose the arranged in programmes for preparation and processing the experimental data are provided. Different complexity lasers arranged in independedt sections are used in training. All the models are matched with the results of the experimental investigations.
