"Temperature-independent phase matching for second harmonic generation in a KTP crystal"

Theoretical and experimental investigations were made of temperature-independent ("uncritical") phase matching for second harmonic generation. It was found experimentally that the bandwidth of the temperature phase-matching tuning curve for a potassium titanyl phosphate (KTP) crystal 7,7 mm long was 210oC at the fundamental radiation wavelength of 1064,2 nm.
